Negotiated with Juventus, player tries to anticipate the end of the link with the Catalan club
The final stretch of Arthur’s passage through Barcelona continues to be controversial. According to the Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo, the club refused to terminate the contract after the player’s request and will open a disciplinary process against the Brazilian midfielder.
Negotiated with Juventus for next season, Arthur failed to re-present the squad on Monday and asked for his contract to be terminated. The player is in Brazil and no longer intends to wear the club shirt, which was counting on him for the final stage of the Champions League in August.
