At least 7% of the people who occupy the main political positions in Brazil have already been infected with Covid-19, including President Bolsonaro. Among them is a federal deputy who lost his father two days after learning that he contracted the virus
In addition to President Jair Bolsonaro (without a party), 65, who announced on Tuesday (7) that he had the disease, the coronavirus has already infected two ministers of state, 8 of the 27 governors, five mayors of capital and at least 31 of the 594 federal deputies and senators.
So far, most of these 47 politicians claim to have healed from Covid-19. There were no deaths in this group. Among the at least 23 that became infected in the Chamber, is the federal deputy Christino Aureo (PP-RJ), who announced the positive result on June 24, on social networks. Two days later, also on the internet, he recorded the death of his father, a victim of the new coronavirus.
