Macau’s 15th anniversary as a World Heritage Site celebrated with Portuguese folklore

The Cultural Institute (IC) marks the 15th anniversary of the inclusion of the historic center of Macau in the UNESCO World Heritage list with two days of activities, which include Portuguese folklore and Cantonese opera.

The event, with free entry, will take place at Casa do Mandarim and Largo do Lilau, on July 11 and 12, between 10:30 and 18:00, with “singing and dancing performances”, including “dance lion, Cantonese opera and Portuguese folk dance ”, as well as“ game booths, a thematic exhibition, ‘workshops’ and the sale of cultural and creative products ”, says a statement from IC.
