Secom (Secretariat of Communication) requested the release this year of R $ 325 million to spend on advertising and public relations to try to improve the image of the Jair Bolsonaro government in the country and abroad.
The amount is more than double forecast in the current 2020 budget for communication actions, around R $ 138.1 million. Secom justifies the request for more appeal on the grounds of the new coronavirus pandemic.
