The Angolan Embassy in Ethiopia held, yesterday, in Addis Ababa, a virtual meeting between heads of diplomatic missions of the Member States of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), for an approach on the evolution of Covid-19 and the measures of measures adopted for diplomats and other officials.
According to a note from the Embassy in Ethiopia, in addition to Angola, the Brazilian ambassador, Luís Pedroso, from Portugal, Helena Malcata, from Mozambique, Albertina Mac Donald, and from Equatorial Guinea, Crisantos Obama, participated, as well as Angolan diplomats and a Mozambican.
At the opening of the event, the Angolan ambassador, Francisco da Cruz, made it known that the initiative was also due to the need to create an opportunity to exchange information about the programs of the CPLP State Governments, in order to contain the spread, as well as addressing the economic and social consequences of the pandemic.
