The suspect is a 43-year-old German citizen with a criminal record who lived in Portugal between 1996 and 2007. He is currently being held in Germany, according to a statement from the Metropolitan Police, the English police.
The suspect’s identification resulted from an investigation by the Portuguese Judiciary Police (PJ) in collaboration with the English and German authorities.
