Players demonstrated in protest over the death of George Floyd and could suffer consequences. The German Football Federation (DFB) announced, through the chairman of the Control Committee, that it opened an investigation into the protests of Marcus Thuram, Jadon Sancho, Hakimi and Weston McKennie, players who demonstrated at the weekend in Bundesliga matches. “The DFB Control Committee will address this issue in the coming days and examine the circumstances of the case,” announced Anton Nachreiner.
