Daichi Kamada opened the scoring early in the 4th minute, followed by a brace from Ayase Ueda in the 31st and 83rd minutes, and a strike from Junya Ito in the 69th minute to seal the win for the Japanese team, who had previously drawn 2-2 against the Netherlands in their opening match.
