ILO data reveal that the pandemic caused a triple shock in the young population, the most affected by unemployment.

The covid-19 pandemic affected various sectors of activity and age groups, but the latest data from the International Labor Organization (ILO) reveal that it is young people who are suffering the greatest impact.

More than one in six young people are unemployed due to covid-19, reveals ILO Monitor: Covid-19 and the world of work, specifying that unemployment is reaching more women than men. Among those who managed to keep their jobs, their working hours were reduced by 23%.
