The issue returned to the debate after the President of the United States, Donald Trump, refused the use of the drug and declared that it was in use, a preventive title, before announcing, last Sunday, that he stopped that medication.
France on Wednesday selected to ban a hydroxychloroquine controversy in the treatment of covid-19 patients, after weeks of debate over an examination of this drug and the publication of a study on the risks involved.
“Whether at home or in hospital, this molecule should not be prescribed for patients covered by 19,” the French Ministry of Health said in a statement after the publication of a decree banning hydroxychloroquine in the official newspaper (daily of the republic).
