The cases of contagion by the new coronavirus in Italy rose this Wednesday to 584 in the space of 24 hours and that of deaths to 117, after two days below the hundred, surpassing the barrier of 33 thousand deaths.
On Tuesday, 397 new cases were recorded.
According to data from the Italian Civil Protection, almost two thirds of the new cases were registered in the region of Lombardy (north), the most affected by the pandemic, where 58 fatalities were counted.
