On the first day of the new phase of deflation, the Prime Minister comes to TSF Morning to answer about the next challenges, but also about the controversy with the Minister of Finance.
It almost felt like a normal week. A political problem in the Government, between the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance, involved the opposition parties and even the President of the Republic.
After António Costa twice assured Parliament that Novo Banco would not be injected another cent without the Government knowing the result of the audit requested from Deloitte – which only arrives in July -, we learned that when the first Minister said for the second time, another 850 million euros had already been transferred. Costa apologized to the Bloco de Esquerda, but the controversy did not end there.
