A Spaniard refused to leave his father seriously ill with coronavirus alone and spent 34 days by his side without leaving the hospital room, a spokesman for the health unit said on Wednesday (29).
Making the V gesture for victory, Juan Antonio and his 70-year-old father Regino left Saturday at the University Hospital of Henares, in Coslada near Madrid, after spending more than a month together in the bedroom.
When the father was hospitalized, “the doctors said he was in a very, very serious condition, that he would not spend more than three or four hours alive,” a hospital spokesman explained to AFP.
