Minister for Labor, Solidarity and Social Security said in Parliament that there are currently 353,000 people registered as unemployed in employment centers.
The increase of unemployed registered in the first half of April compared to March was 10%, according to figures revealed this Tuesday by the Minister of Labor, representing the largest percentage increase in 2003 since 2003, the last year with available data.
The Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, said this Tuesday in Parliament that there are currently 353 thousand people registered as unemployed in employment centers, against 321 thousand in March.
