The United States will begin a new round of negotiations with Iran on Monday for a possible peace agreement, American President Donald Trump announced today.
After having said he was delaying a joint attack with Israel against Iran so that an agreement could be reached quickly, Donald Trump revealed that new negotiations with Tehran will begin on Monday.
“Of course they don’t want to be attacked. They knew the scale of this attack, because they saw it taking shape (…) What we’re doing now is talking with them, as part of a negotiation. That starts tomorrow [Monday] afternoon,” Donald Trump said, aboard Air Force One, quoted by the Agence France-Presse news agency.

On Saturday, on the social network Truth, Trump revealed that the United States’ allies in the Middle East had reached an understanding on the terms of an agreement to end the war with Iran.
That agreement, on the verge of being finalized, would include the “immediate, complete and total opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the end of Iran’s nuclear threat.”
