Cape Verdean goalkeeper Josimar José Évora Dias ‘Vozinha’ declared himself this Sunday “very happy” to have arrived in Chile to finalize his move to Colo Colo, after several days of waiting.
“I am very happy to have arrived here and I thank the fans for the patience they had waiting for me,” declared the starting goalkeeper of the Cape Verde national team and standout figure at the 2026 World Cup.
The footballer arrived from Madrid at Arturo Merino Benítez airport, in Santiago de Chile, where he was received around 9:03 pm local time (2:03 am Lisbon time on Monday), by a group of fans of the Chilean club, who chanted his name and sang the team’s songs.

The 40-year-old goalkeeper had two consecutive delays in his arrival date in the country, due to the delay in processing his visa documents and the fact that he had personal matters to resolve.
‘Vozinha’ is expected to undergo routine medical examinations today, before signing a contract valid for six months, with an option to renew for a further 12 months for the year 2027.
