German coach Jürgen Klopp is the new manager of Germany, on a four-year contract, the German Football Federation (DFB) announced today.
Klopp, 59, replaces his compatriot Julian Nagelsmann in the role, who left by mutual agreement with the DFB after the Mannschaft’s elimination in the round of 16 at the World Cup 2026, in a penalty shootout defeat to Paraguay (1-1, 4-3).
