Jorge Jesus’ Al Nassr routed Rui Vitória’s Al Wasl 4-0 today, with a goal from Ronaldo and two assists from João Félix, and advanced to the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League Two.
In Cristiano Ronaldo’s first start in the competition, the national team captain needed 11 minutes to open the scoring. In the 24th minute, following a corner taken by João Félix, Inigo Martínez doubled Al Nassr’s lead. The 3-0 came three minutes later, with another cross from Félix, this time for Al Amri to tap in for a goal. The scoring was closed by Sadio Mané in the 80th minute.
Ronaldo was substituted in the 67th minute, nine minutes after João Félix was also replaced by Al Khaibari, in a tournament where Jorge Jesus has mostly played with his ‘second string’. On the Al Wasl side, Portuguese U-21 international Pedro Malheiro played the full 90 minutes.

Al Nassr thus reached their 18th consecutive victory in all competitions and advanced to the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League Two, where they will face the winner of the duel between Al Ahli Doha and Al Hussein, which will take place at 8:00 PM (Continental Portugal time) today. Japan’s Gamba Osaka are already in the final of the competition.
This knockout tie, which marked Jesus’ 16th victory over Rui Vitória, was scheduled for March 4 and 11 but was postponed due to the conflict between the United States and Iran and reformulated into a single-leg tie.
