The Federal Government of Brazil announced today that it has been authorized to export sheep and goat oocytes (reproductive cells) to Angola, which, it emphasized, “opens new possibilities in the animal genetics segment.”
Angola is one of Brazil’s main trading partners on the African continent, and in 2025, the country imported more than 380 million dollars (322 million euros) in Brazilian agricultural products. Brazilian exports to Angola include frozen or chilled beef, pork, and poultry (30.2%), and sugars and molasses (21%), among others.

On the other hand, imports, according to Brazilian government data, consist of crude petroleum oils (90%) and petroleum fuel oils (9%).
