NEW

Originating in Osaka, Japan, where it earned two Michelin stars, Sushiyonshi opened this year in Macau at MGM COTAI, bringing the innovative philosophy of chef and owner Hiroki Nakanoue.

Known for his original take on Japanese cuisine, Chef Hiroki defies convention and promises to deliver a culinary experience unlike any other in the city. Sushiyoshi offers a true culinary feast, featuring set menus and omakase, where the chef himself customizes each piece of sushi.

With branches in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Taipei (the latter having been awarded a Michelin star), Sushiyoshi’s arrival in Macau was eagerly anticipated. For those seeking a luxurious, creative dining experience that breaks the mold, this is undoubtedly the city’s biggest debut of 2026.

From Easter traditions to discounts at iconic restaurants and international premieres, here are the highlights for anyone planning their next meals in the city.
