Leaders FC Porto drew 2-2 away at Benfica today in the 25th round of the Portuguese Primeira Liga, having been two goals ahead before allowing the hosts to come back.

At the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, the Dragons opened the scoring through Dane Froholdt in the 10th minute and extended their lead with a goal from Pole Pietuszewski in the 40th, but the Eagles responded in the second half through Norwegian Schjelderup in the 69th minute and Luxembourger Leandro Barreiro in the 88th.

With this result, combined with Sporting’s draw away at Braga (2-2), FC Porto lead the league with 66 points, maintaining a four-point advantage over second-placed Sporting and seven over Benfica in third, who remain unbeaten in the Primeira Liga.
