Paul Thomas Anderson’s film “One Battle after Another” emerged as the Oscars frontrunner in the early hours of Sunday, after winning the Producers Guild Awards — the PGA Awards — held in Los Angeles.
The 37th edition of the ceremony crowned the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Chase Infiniti, and Sean Penn with its top honor, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures. Over the past 16 years, this prize has aligned with the Oscar for Best Picture winner on 14 occasions.
