These cameras are located around Tong Seng, Tong Chong e Tong Kai Buildings, covering major thoroughfares and public pedestrian areas. As planned, a total of 120 “Eye in the Sky” cameras will be installed in phases in New City Area A.
With the activation of these ten new cameras, the total number of “Eye in the Sky” cameras across Macau has reached 1,711, and the overall operations are functioning well and meeting expectations, according to the Police Headquarters.
Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, police assisted in investigating 7,131 cases and incidents through the “Eye in the Sky” system, including serious crimes such as murder, drug trafficking, and robbery.
Currently, the construction of “Eye in the Sky” cameras in New City Area A is progressing in line with infrastructure planning. Security authorities emphasize that they will continuously optimize camera coverage and functionality based on the actual needs of Macau’s urban development, aiming to enhance the region’s overall public security and preventive capabilities through a comprehensive layout and improved system construction.
