Blending themed displays, photo spots, an Old Master Q pop-up store, interactive experience zones and special themed menu items based on the comics, the exhibition invites guests to walk alongside Old Master Q, Big Potato, and Mr. Chin through the comic’s most iconic eras, embarking on a playful journey where ‘Fun Never Ends’.
Spanning key areas of Studio City Macau, this special exhibition brings Old Master Q’s classic four-panel strips to life through immersive, interactive scenes. Once a cherished memory, the characters now leap vividly to life, reimagined as contemporary icons and beloved old friends for a new generation.
The journey begins at the Time Machine Manuscript Collection, where rare pre-publication prototype manuscripts and vintage artist tools trace the evolution of Old Master Q from its early sketches to its iconic final form. The Old Master Q Newsstand and Café then invites you to relive the nostalgic joy of reading comics while savoring delicious food. The experience continues with Fantastic Crossover 321, an interactive installation that allows guests to step into the role of comic characters and create their own unique four-panel comic strip photo.
At Classic Comic Lane, guests venture into an immersive environment inspired by Macau’s local culture, where Old Master Q is reimagined through a playful comic lens for the Live the Moment Macau experience. The exhibition then expands into the realm of contemporary art at 60 Years, 60 Crossovers, showcasing a diverse convergence of styles from original black-and-white strips to vibrant pop art and modern trend crossovers. To wrap up the adventure, the interactive Travel Through Old Master Q photo experience invites guests to choose different characters and settings, placing themselves directly inside the iconic comic universe.
Themed experiences integrate across Studio City beyond the exhibition. The Daydreamer Tram photo installation, situated on the first floor near the Light Rapid Transit entrance, features figures of Old Master Q, Big Potato, and Mr. Chin that invite guest interaction. Adding to the excitement, the Old Master Q Pop-up Store will launch simultaneously, showcasing a curated selection of official merchandise. This integration also extends to culinary offerings: Joyride Diner, Spice Road, and Louvre Pastry & Deli will introduce themed menus infused with Old Master Q elements, providing guests a comprehensive, multi-sensory journey.
Celebrating a 60-year legacy of humor and everyday wisdom, Old Master Q arrives at Studio City Macau for a limited engagement from February 9th to April 12th, 2026.
