Sands China Ltd. recently held its Because We Care Team Member Annual Awards Ceremony 2025 at The Londoner Macao, recognising 100 outstanding individuals and teams whose dedication and service embody the company’s spirit and values.
The ceremony celebrates stories of genuine care that inspire colleagues across the company and strengthens internal service culture.
Launched in 2013, the Because We Care Annual Awards are built on four core values — We Are Friendly, We Are Professional, We Are Active Listeners, and We Are One Team — and spotlight team members who bring those values to life in everyday operations.
This year’s awards process began with 642 nominations across 26 departments. Over six months, Sands China’s more than 27,000 team members read nominee stories and submitted more than 100,000 internal platform responses.
Sands China honours exemplary team members at the company’s Because We Care Team Member Annual Awards Ceremony 2025, recently held at The Londoner Macao. The annual awards recognise individuals and teams who embody the cultural values of Sands China’s Because We Care service philosophy. This year’s awards saw 642 nomination submissions, covering both individual and team entries.
A judging committee selected the top 100 finalists (representing over 500 team members) who advanced to the final stage.

Winners were announced in nine categories reflecting multiple facets of service excellence: “Because We Care” Premium Award, People’s Choice Award, Active Listener Award, Best Team Player Award, Professional Award, New Team Member Award, Manager of the Year, Outstanding Team Award, and Fellowship Award. Prizes included trophies, cash and other rewards totalling over MOP 900,000.
More than 900 team members attended the ceremony to celebrate colleagues who exemplify Sands China’s service philosophy.
The Because We Care Team Member Awards reinforce the company’s talent and recognition strategy — part of broader HR accomplishments that saw Sands China achieve Top Employer certification in 2025.
