Macau’s Chief Executive, Sam Hou Fai, is set to present the 2026 Policy Address on November 18 at the Legislative Assembly at 3:00 PM. Following the address, a press conference will be held at the Government Headquarters at 5:30 PM, where he will respond to questions from the media.

On November 19, at 3:00 PM, Sam will participate in a plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly to outline the Government’s policy program and engage with Assembly members during a question-and-answer session.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to watch the Policy Address, the subsequent press conference, and the following day’s Q&A session live on TDM’s television channels and radio service.

Additionally, the proceedings will be available for online viewing through various platforms, including the Macau Special Administrative Region Government Portal, the Chief Executive’s Office website, the Legislative Assembly website, the Government Information Bureau website, and the dedicated Policy Address webpage.

Sam Hou Fai delivered his first Policy Address on April of this year, with one of the main points raised the integration of Macau and Hengqin, with efforts to advance the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.

This included strengthening ties with Guangdong Province and Hong Kong, Macau’s nearest neighbours and partners within the Greater Bay Area, as well as fostering deeper connections with Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs) across Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.
