According to data from the Public Security Police Force, the daily high for border crossings was 832,000. On August 24th, Macau surpassed 150 million total border crossings for the year, reaching the milestone 23 days earlier than in the previous year.
During July and August, Macau received 7.68 million tourists, with a daily average of 123,000.
The highest number of tourist arrivals in a single day was 195,000, representing a 15.2% increase from the same period last year. Mainland China was the largest source of tourists, accounting for 75.8% of the total.
