According to a government platform for managing public resource transactions across Guangdong province, Dezhi Plaza is now being turned into a temporary campus — a strategic ambition laid out by the government to boost industry–academia–research development on the island adjacent to Macau’s casino hub.
As the notice posted last Friday suggests, the redevelopment project will be fully financed with government-backed capital.
