According to official information made available on Monday, by 2029, when Macau marks 30 years since its return to Chinese rule, there should be a high level of synergy between the two regions, with a ‘fully established institutional system for deep regulatory integration’.
Adjectives such as ‘efficient’ and ‘convenient’ are also emphasised in reference to essential cross-border flows.
