This Saturday, the Council of State of the Central Government appointed the new government and the holders of the main posts in the Macao SAR.
André Cheong retains the Administration and Justice portfolio and Wong Sio Chak remains in charge of Security.
The other three are new faces. Tai Kin Ip, previously director of the Economic Services, will take over the Economy and Finance portfolio. Lam, Chui Sai On’s former Chief of Staff, will take over the Social Affairs and Culture secretariat. Tam Vai Man, who served as Director of Environmental Protection Services, becomes Secretary for Transport and Public Works.
Ao Ieong Seong is the new Commissioner Against Corruption and Elsie Ao Ieong, until now Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, goes to the Commission of Audit. Leong Man Cheong has been appointed Commander General of the Unitary Police Services, Ho Hou Hon is the new Director General of the Macau Customs and Chan Tsz King becomes the Prosecutor General of the Macao SAR.
