Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, two years after the Hollywood stars got married, according to the American press.
The couple, nicknamed “Bennifer” by the media, had already had a romance in the early 2000s. At the time, the two Hollywood stars got engaged, but the relationship ended in 2004. Almost two decades later, in 2021, the couple gave romance another chance.
But on Tuesday, JLo, as the actress and singer is also known, filed divorce papers in a Los Angeles court, according to Variety magazine and the website TMZ. When contacted by AFP, representatives for Jennifer Lopez and the actor did not comment on the matter.
