Taipa ferry terminal to provide chopper services next year

Preparations are currently underway to make helicopter services available at Taipa’s ferry terminal as soon as next year, a Civil Aviation Authority (AACM) official has revealed

Fong Wai Long, vice president of AACM, told lawmakers on Tuesday that the helicopter services would hopefully become ready for use as soon as the second half of 2025.

According to him, the authorities have been in communication with service operators over the increasing of flight arrangements and destinations based on market demand.

“Since the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, demand for helicopter services has waned under less favourable conditions,” the official said in an update on the current situation.
