Sands China Ltd. received a total of 27 human resources awards in the Asia Pacific region for its exceptional talent development initiatives and commitment to enhancing team member benefits and work-life balance experience throughout the past year.

Among the many accolades, the company was honoured by the prestigious Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards 2023 as the winner of the Human Capital Development Initiative Category for its Sands Retail Academy. This recognition is a testament to Sands China’s unwavering commitment to developing the retail sector and nurturing professional talent for Macao’s tourism industry.

This marks Sands China’s second consecutive year winning the esteemed PATA Gold Award, which acknowledges exceptional and innovative tourism initiatives in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

Additionally, Sands China secured four awards at the 2023 Employer Branding Creativity Awards, making it the only Macao-based company to be honoured alongside renowned winners such as Tencent, Mercedes-Benz, PwC, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Bosch China. Notably, Sands China received the ‘2023 Employer Branding Creativity Awards – Best Employer Brand Social Media,’ for its creative use of social media to showcase the company’s employer branding value.

Other notable awards include Best HR Shared Service Center in Greater China, Best HR Team of the Year, and Best Innovative Employee Experience Program, among others. These accolades affirm Sands China’s dedication, effort, and resources in the overall development and experience of its team members.
