With this year marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR, we hope our team members come away from the exhibition with love for Macao and the nation, thereby strengthening their patriotic spirit and helping pass down the safeguarding of national security from generation to generation.”
Approximately 40 team members went on a guided tour of the exhibition, which showcased Macao’s advancements in social security and its integration into the overall development of the country.
Karen Kwan, Executive Director of Entertainment for Sands China, expressed her appreciation for the exhibition, and said: “I’m glad the company organised this visit to the exhibition, which introduced us to the overall concept of national security from various perspectives, and reminded us to pay more attention to cyber security, which is closely related to our daily lives.”
The exhibition is co-organised by the Macao government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the MSAR. Since 2018, Sands China has organised yearly team member visits to the National Security Education Exhibition, in support of the Macao government’s efforts to raise public awareness and educate the community on national security matters.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China Ltd., leads a delegation of Sands China’s management and other team members on a tour of the 2024 National Security Education Exhibition at the Macao Forum Wednesday, as part of the company’s ongoing effort to promote professionalism education.
This event is part of Sands China’s ongoing commitment to professionalism education, aiming to enhance employees’ knowledge of the business environment and national development. By doing so, Sands China strives to make meaningful contributions to the transformation of Macao into a world centre of tourism and leisure.
The company has implemented numerous professionalism education initiatives, including professional literacy training courses, Greater Bay Area visits, professional lectures, distinguished speaker forums, professional exchange activities, and film screenings. More than 70 professionalism activities have been held to date, totalling over 63,000 participants.
