The first days of May started with a rise in revenue from Macau’s casinos. In the first week, from May 1 to 7, the average daily revenue of casinos was over MOP640 million, according to figures released by JP Morgan consultants.
It was during the Labour Day Golden Week, from May 1 to 3, that the average revenue was exponentially higher, around MOP900 million per day.
Even though revenues are on the rise, the operators’ shares on the stock exchanges have been falling for three consecutive days, reveals the JP Morgan analysis.
