After getting him the contact of Mannii Minogue, sister of singer Kylie Minogue, Ronaldo asked him for Kimberly Wyatt, of the Pussycat Dolls. “What do I get out of it”, replied Rod Thornley, to which Ronaldo promised him his £60,000 Porsche at half price when he left for Real Madrid.
“It took me about ten minutes to get the number. When the season ended, I asked him about our arrangement. I gave him 30 thousand and the next day I sold it for 60! I had a spectacular holiday in the Maldives that year,” says Rod Thornley.
