TDM Rádio Macau

The Macau University of Science and Technology has released the SAR’s consumer confidence index in the fourth quarter of 2022, which recorded a rebound of 12.62% compared to the quarter before.

The MUST said an index of 77.56 is still below the 100-point threshold, indicating a lack of confidence.

But it also highlighted the significant improvement from the CCI of the third quarter last year that was the worst in the history of the survey.

The institute believes Macau has already bottomed out, and residents are becoming more confident.

Among the six indexes, the employment index recorded the more significant improvement, up 18.9% quarter-on-quarter.
