Renovations: “If we had been in a worse situation, it would not have been possible, these renovations [Evanilson, Pepê, Zaidu and João Mário] have an immediate cost. These players were very sought after and in demand this season, it was our decision not to let them go because of the sporting aspect, we put that above the financial, we didn’t need to. We improved the contracts and increased the clauses. Now, whoever wants Pepê has to pay 75 million euros.”
