Tourism figures for these October holidays, associated with the National Day, are exceeding expectations, and are an injection of confidence for Macau’s economy.
This is what the director of the Tourism Services, Helena de Senna Fernandes, said, quoted by Ou Mun Tin Toi.
In the first two days of October, 65,000 visitors entered Macau.
On day two, 28,235 arrived in the MSAR.
Yesterday, 25,852 visitors entered the territory.
Statistics released shortly after midnight by the Public Security Police Corps indicate a total of 56,082 visitors entering and leaving through the different border posts.
It is mentioned in a statement that tourist departures totaled 30,230 yesterday.
