Hong Kong court convicts five for ‘sedition’ over children’s books

A court convicted five Hong Kongers of sedition on Wednesday for publishing children’s books that portrayed the city’s democracy supporters as sheep defending their village from wolves.

All members of a union, the five were found guilty of “conspiracy to print, publish, sell, offer for sale, distribute, display or reproduce seditious publication”.
