Catalonia Court hands over José Eduardo dos Santos’ body to his wife

The Court of Catalonia, in Spain, decided to deliver the corpse of the Former President of the Republic of Angola, José Eduardo dos Santos, to his wife Ana Paula dos Santos, for his burial.

The decision was made Tuesday (16), after the judge received the reports of the Forensic Medical Institute and the Toxicology Laboratory. According to a reliable source cited by ANGOP, in the resolution the judge recognizes Ana Paula dos Santos as the widow of the former Angolan Head of State.

The ruling empowers the former first lady to have guardianship of the body of the former Head of State and proceed with the process of translocation.
