On the 18th of June, the first cases of coronavirus were detected, which led, in the early hours of the 19th, to the declaration of the state of immediate prevention to stop this new outbreak of the disease, the most serious recorded in Macau.
A month in which 1,755 cases were recorded, 11 mass testing of the population, daily rapid tests since the beginning of July, and the first five deaths related to COVID in Macau, since the pandemic emerged two and a half years ago.
