The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, urged China “to play a more constructive role in commenting on Russia’s war against Ukraine” and to cease disinformation surrounding Russian attacks.
Borrel revealed on Twitter that he discussed these matters with Chinese Foreign Ministry adviser Wang Yi.
