The Angolan government is firmly committed to strengthening relations with the United States of America, with the conviction that both countries have a key role to play in building a future of prosperity, understanding and harmony among all the peoples of the world, wrote the President of the Republic in a congratulatory message to his American counterpart, Joe Biden.
In the letter, on the occasion of another anniversary, marked yesterday (July 4), the Independence Day of the USA, João Lourenço said he believes that the approach at the highest level of aspects relating to bilateral relations will help to deepen and solidify the foundations on which the whole architecture of cooperation between the two countries will be based.

The President of the Republic considered the date significant for the history of the United States of America, so he takes the “opportunity to salute the creative dynamism of its people that gives his country an outstanding place in the concert of nations, which highlights the inclusion in the most varied levels and segments of American society.
