Brazil bans flights from the UK after discovery of new coronavirus mutation

Ordinance also requires testing for unaccompanied children over 2 and under 12 on international flights.

After the decision of more than 40 countries, the Brazilian government decided this Wednesday (23) to temporarily prohibit international flights that originate or pass through the United Kingdom. The veto begins on Friday (25).

Earlier in the week, the government had decided to keep flying, but said it was monitoring the situation.
