Russia accuses YouTube of censorship and proposes national platforms to replace it

Russian communications regulator Roskomnadzor on Saturday proposed the creation of national video platforms to replace YouTube, due to the alleged “censorship” of the American service to Russian media.

“We draw the attention of the Russian media to the need to maintain information channels on national video platforms.
