House of Dancing Water reopening postponed, involved ‘blue cards’ departing

Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited has informed Macau News Agency that its House of Dancing Water show will remain closed for the next several months and will not resume operations in January as the gaming operator as previously expected.

As a result, the blue card holders “whose work permits expire during the show hiatus will be departing”, the company said in a statement, adding that Macau residents involved in the project “will continue to support the activities held at The House of Dancing Water theatre”.

Melco added in a statement that the reason behind the change of plans is the fact that the show’s creator and director Franco Dragone “has been unable to come to Macau”.
