European Union reaffirms support to fight hunger in Angola

The European Union (EU) reaffirmed its commitment to implementing programs aimed at reducing the effects of hunger in the country, by the year 2030, and achieving sustainable development

The European Union ambassador to Angola, Jeannette Seppen, who intervened, by video conference, in the act of launching 225 field schools in the South region, in partnership with FAO, highlighted the importance of financing with several international partners, from the perspective strengthen food and nutrition security, as well as boost the agricultural sector.

The diplomat, cited by Angop, assured that actions in these fields can also play an important role in promoting gender equality and empowering women.
