In a note published on the official website, the FPF explains that Ronaldo “(…) was released from the work of the National Team after a positive test for COVID-19, so he will not face Sweden”. Cristiano Ronaldo has covid-19.
The captain of the national team tested positive and is leaving the Portuguese entourage in an uproar. The Portuguese Football Federation has already confirmed that the winger is infected and has been released from the work of the national team, which on Wednesday plays with Sweden for the League of Nations (19.45, Estádio José Alvalade).
