Two children died and one was injured on Saturday in the Belo Monte neighborhood, Sequele district, Cacuaco municipality, in Luanda, as a result of the explosion of a mill
The incident occurred in the vicinity of the 100th Tank Unit of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA). Two children aged 14 and 15 died as a result of the explosion and a third was injured. According to the National Police, the injured child is receiving treatment at the local municipal hospital and out of danger.
According to the testimony of the adolescent survivor to the National Police, the explosion occurred when war weapons were being hammered in the area, located around the FAA’s 100th Tank Unit. It should be recalled that, in December last year, the explosion of a mill caused injuries to 13 people (adults and children), in the area of the Post Office market, Golf district, in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi.
